"swing" detail

daniel de biasi and federico sandri, founders of the design partnership ‘something’, displayed new work for the italian manufacturer bonomi at the ‘cersaie’ fair in bologna, italy.

‘swing’ is a shower system based on a simple idea that draws conceptual parallels between the natural widening of water flow and similar shapes observed in the amplification of sound of brass instruments, a material used traditionally for the production of taps.

the key element of the series is the shower head. its simplicity and the chrome plated or powder coated matte black finish allow the shower system to be easily integrated in any bathroom, independently from belonging to a complete series or a predetermined range of taste.
