creative simplicity characterizes special edition e-bike by wood wood and hermansen

an e-bike performing on both form and function

on the occasion of the ‘3 days of design’ 2021 event in copenhagen, contemporary fashion and lifestyle brand wood wood has teamed up with e-bike maker hermansen to create a special edition collaborative bike. merging minimalist aesthetics with a signature triangular frame, an intelligent pedal-assist motor, and 40K battery distance, the ‘W.W. hermansen bike one’ serves both form and function.

creative exploration meets simplicity 

the ‘W.W. hermansen bike one’ showcases all signature characteristics of anders hermansen’s sleek design, taking shape as an urban, unisex, single-speed e-bike with a compact, strong, and lightweight asymmetric frame. moreover, its 20” wheels make for a highly maneuverable vehicle offering a spry yet effortless riding experience — another emblematic characteristic of the e-bike brand.

for this collaborative project, wood wood co-founder brian SS jensen has added new expressive features to the unique design, which reference vintage 4×4 vehicles as well as the hallmarks of outdoor gear. in addition, the e-bike has been treated to a khaki paint job with co-branding and red anodized details –blending the fashion brand’s propensity for creative exploration with hermansen’s simplicity.

the collaborative e-bike will be exhibited at the wood wood flagship store in the center of copenhagen from september 16th-18th.
