Sculpted in pure brass, the Viper Bottle Opener mimics the reptile’s distinct scaly skin and curled up form. Unlike most other snake scales, viper scales have ridges down their center, which add a prickly dragon-like texture and reduce shininess and glare that helps them hide from predators and prey.

Emphasizing the beauty of their elegant yet mighty form, Coppertist.Wu engraves each and every one of the viper’s keeled scales by hand, including the scales on the inner curved parts that are difficult to reach, creating a sculptural yet functional object.
