the ‘cape lamp’ by paris-based designer constance guisset has been created as an abstract figure, with a floating form that is reminiscent of either an animal or a plant. the plastic piece is made of fluid curbs that balance between softness and tension, while revealing light opalescent colors from within. hanging from a delicate metallic base, the shade is offset by two ethereal components, as though the realization of an inwardly drawn breath.
the ‘cape lamp’ was presented as part of moustache’s ‘half decade beast’ exhibition presented at spazio rossana orlandi during milan design week 2014.
