combs made from hair and resin by giorgia zanellato

italian designer giorgia zanellato, has created ‘hairdressed’, a series of hair combs and accessories made from utilizing recycled trimmings from local hairdressers. after several experiments with organic materials such as wool and felt, her project concludes by using a combination of resin as a bonding agent to create a unique collection of pieces. after pouring the mix into different molds, the final pieces are laser cut from the hardened forms.
