CODE and gruppo romani’s brief tasks creatives to craft a collection of luxury ceramics that source the mythology and elegance of lighthouses and coastal towers. these, in the era of GPS, sonar and automatic navigation, have lost their original significance, being abandoned and left to turn into ruins. they stand isolated and defiantly on the face of beautifully dangerous environments as relics of a bygone era, now just waiting to be re-used in a more contemporary fashion, such as accommodation for unparalleled holiday destinations. targeting this new network of vacation facilities, as well as seaside tourism, the new collection would fit perfectly within these backdrops.

the ceramics collection for cerasarda atelier must reflect relaxation holidays, where worries of the world are a long way away. they must evoke the paradise’s surroundings; the rolling in of the waves, the calls of the seagulls and the light breeze amongst the trees that soar into the blue sky. by emphasizing the charm of these remote locations and wild nature, as well as style and elegance, the items will become the ideal products for suites of luxury hotels with a view of the sea.
