cleverhood debuts new bike-ready rain cape made from PFC free materials

as many people swap public transport for cycling during the ongoing health pandemic, cleverhood has released the ‘rover’ rain cape to make commuting on two wheels more comfortable and more stylish. the sleek, bike-ready design is completely waterproof, lightweight, and even features reflective accents for greater road safety.

‘as the coronavirus pandemic limits travel, pastime and health club options, people are walking and biking more. cities are opening streets to pedestrians, cyclists and open-air dining. we’ve seen an over 200% increase in sales, which correlates with the boom in bike sales and people’s new appreciation for their local environment, and healthy coping mechanisms,’ says susan mocarski, founding owner of cleverhood. ‘rain or shine, it’s good to get out when the opportunity presents itself. we’ve designed the rover cape to extend life’s opportunities.’

PFC-free, the waterproof, seam-sealed garment features breathable fabric, a rugged YKK zipper, and natural airflow for comfort. the attached hood has 3-way elastic adjustments while reflective 3mm accents improve visibility on dark, rainy nights. lightweight and easy to pack, the rover cape is well suited for both the daily commute and weekend adventures.
