‘we got the inspiration when we remembered exploring the ever-so-funny and round-shaped millipede worms as children. fascinated by the way they bend and scroll in that stylish technique, the idea of designing the first system for MISSANA (see more here) suddenly came to mind,‘ explains jordi iranzo from clap studio (see more here).

a three-part design simulating millipede movements
the ‘worm bench’ is made up of just three modules: the end module, the straight module, and the curved module that bends at 22.5º. the three-part design leads to a set up of endless combinations by playing with size, shape, and color. additionally, each module comprises two distinct parts: a round upholstered seat and a metal structure with numerous legs that simulate those of a millipede worm.
