mike wilson and meghan hanneman, founders of catastropicreations, have designed a modular wall-mounted system which encourages cats to keep active. made up of various different parts, including bridges, ladders and scratching posts, the system transforms any surface into an indoor cat playground.

the system includes canvas fabric for hammocks and climbing, a sisal-lined scratching pole, a sisal-lined escape hatch, eight mounting planks, and two ladder pieces. the set also includes planters where you can incorporate cat-safe plants like catnip and cat grass.
catastrophicreations, which is available via etsy, uses a modular system which features interchangeable accessories so that you can customize the system to your walls and your cats’ preferences. users can even choose from a variation of different wood and canvas colors depending on their interior. thanks to a specialized bracket design, this system’s elements appear to be floating on the wall.
