Buzzi & Buzzi transforms the Hotel Splendid in Madonna di Campiglio into a space of refined elegance through their innovative lighting designs. As part of the renovation project in 2023, curated by Arch Alberto di Camillo (A D C architectural and interior design), the Italian company has accentuated the architecture and materials of the structure, bringing warmth and sophistication into the lobby, walkways, fitness areas, and the lounge bar. Buzzi & Buzzi’s ability to harmonize light within a functional atmosphere elevates the guest experience and reaffirms the four-star Hotel as the ideal destination for a high-level stay in Trentino.

the lighting integrates into the hotel’s architectural elegance

Founded in 1990, Buzzi & Buzzi specializes in the creation of recessed lighting fixtures for both indoor and outdoor use, designed by prominent designers and architects. The harmonious synergy between technique and design is indeed the key element of the Italian company‘s products, giving rise to new concepts, not only from an aesthetic point of view but also from a functional and technological perspective. Established both nationally and internationally, Buzzi & Buzzi is in continuous search for new sustainable materials and improvement of product and service quality, used also in their intervention on the Hotel Splendid in Trentino, Italy.

Thanks to their custom project, the renovated lobby welcomes guests with lighting that enhances every architectural detail. The wellness center benefits from products designed to create a relaxing environment, perfect for a wellness, sports, and fun-filled holiday. Welcomed by a warm and welcoming ambience, visitors can end their day with an aperitif accompanied by live music in the Lounge on the second floor. Buzzi & Buzzi’s approach guarantees a harmonious and high-standard experience, integrated into the hotel’s elegant context.

The dialogue between materials and light involved integrating fixtures that blend and harmoniously embellish the hotel’s architecture. These solutions were able to bring out the surfaces and details of local materials, such as natural stones and wood, used in the renovation project. The brand’s designs created a continuum of light that enhances the elegance and functionality of the spaces, connecting with the natural beauty of the place without overloading it. Thanks to this collaboration, the hotel guarantees a refined and non-invasive visual experience, in continuity with the surrounding environment.

From the pool to the relaxation and socialization areas, the integration of lighting solutions reflects ensure a calibrated atmosphere of elegance and modernity. Specifically, the Wellness Center and the Beauty Room have been equipped with Basic Square, a recessed fixture that blends with the surrounding environment. This system, characterized by complete disappearance and clean lines, projects light that discreetly infuses with the relaxing mood necessary in these areas.

For the Hotel’s Lounge Bar, Buzzi & Buzzi opted for Genius Naked Black and The Tube to create a dynamic yet private environment. Genius Naked, with its minimal visual impact thanks to a hole of only 20 mm, fits perfectly with the surfaces of this specific area, while The Tube embraces the details above the counters and in the conversation areas, intensifying the intimacy of the place.

In the Private Rooms and executive offices, the Y1D projector offers all its versatility. Thanks to its 360° orientation capability and minimal design, this product effectively illuminates while maintaining a low visual impact, essential for spaces requiring elegant discretion.

Meanwhile, for the pool, the use of Genius Basic IP65, with its discretion and resistance to humidity, perfectly adapts to the environment, while in the lobby, the installation of Sidus transforms the area into an extremely welcoming place. The body, made of AirCoral®, not only illuminates the spaces but purifies the air as its diffuse light allows for homogeneous and comfortable setting.

Finally, for the corridors and walkways, Phantom gently guides guests through the different areas of the hotel with its refined design and step marker function, creating luminous paths that enhance the visual experience without overloading the surroundings.
