constructed from thin steel rods which transmit low voltage electricity from the base of the lamp to the lighting element, jerusalem-based magenta studio have designed ‘bugala’ and ‘garmoshka’ – two lighting fixtures influenced by construction cranes and heavy lifting machines. due to the electric transmission, the lamps’ body remains free of wires and allows subtle movement from an open to closed position.
