murano glass used in BrogliatoTraverso's handmade table lamps

founded by alberto brogliato and federico traverso, BrogliatoTraverso is a vicenza-based design studio with a vision that combines professionalism, technical expertise, passion for research and innovation. for this year’s london design festival at designjunction, they will be presenting ‘nelly’—a table lamp entirely handmade in venice that is composed of two separate murano glass forms.

‘hats’ are mouth-blown by renowned murano’s artisan nason moretti

manufactured by cameron peters, ‘nelly’ lamp by BrogliatoTraverso has a base that showcases a white frosted mould-blown glass, while the ‘hat’ is blown in translucent colored glass by renowned murano’s artisans NasonMoretti. sitting loose on top of the base, the hat is available in five colors: blue, green, brown, violet and grey. the lamp is 20cm high with a diameter of 17.5cm and uses an E14 LED bulb with a switch on the cable.
