‘lutz’ boxlights german designer david oelschlaegel has won the title of ‘best product design’ for his boxlights, as part of [d3] design talents‘ school competition at the imm cologne 2010. it has been the designer’s graduate project at burg giebichenstein university in halle, germany. the spotlights are covered with a translucent black cotton fabric, and their luminosity can be regulated through the use of blinders. david oelschlaegel has also designed the fourfold and sixfold electric sockets ‘maik’ and ‘mandy’. ‘mandy’ and ‘maik’ electrical sockets image © designboom ‘maik’ ‘mandy’
