Illuminating Milan Design Week’s SaloneSatellite exhibition, Atsushi Shindo’s LIMINAL is a radiant installation that transcends conventional notions of space and functionality. Ring-shaped components crafted from flat cast iron materials intricately intertwine around a single LED line light as they suspend from the ceiling, evoking an aesthetic reminiscent of jewelry. In the structure, metal parts of varying sizes adorn each ring, arranged in a single row on both sides, creating ambiguous outlines within the space.
