spanish designer alejandra gandía-blasco brings the spirit of freedom and adventure into the home with ‘surf’, a small collection of handmade wool rugs/benches. designed for GAN — the domestic products brand of gandiablasco — the pieces are available in three models: ‘malibu mediterranean’, ‘malibu atlantic’, and ‘surf race indico red’. each can be placed on the floor, or raised off the ground like a board on a wave. with a base of powder-coated steel and lacquered MDF panel, the rug can be brought to a comfortable sitting height.
