alberto + francesco meda conceive stackable modular shoebox for volta

on the occasion of milan design week 2017, italian footwear brand volta has presented ‘OCD 017’, a stackable modular shoebox conceived by alberto and francesco meda. founded in 2009 and known for referencing classics, volta’s shoes are a comfortable hybrid between sneakers and boots, crafted especially to fit daily life. with the addition of the shiny and elegant shoeboxes, they aim to continue defining their philosophy.
the boxes are made of bent aluminium and brass sheets

thought for the neat and the sneaker maniacs, volta’s ‘OCD 017’ shoe box designed by alberto and francesco meda is made of bent aluminium and brass sheets. its stackable and modular features allows the boxes to work not just as storage, but also as a nice piece of furniture or even as a room divider. available in both and silver, ‘OCD 017’ can be used also as a display thanks to a transparent side. this can be then covered with leather panels available in dark grey, dark blue, and burgundy.
