for the event of this year’s design september in brussels, architect and designer alain berteau is showing two collections of products manufactured in DuPont™ Corian®, a highly versatile material that has a wide variety of applications.

featured in its recycled material colours, the ‘swing’ lighting system, produced by belgian manufacturer aluci, consists of three components that are pinned together at their intersections. allowing for a number of configurations, the lamp can pivot and fan out to accommodate a large radius of space.

also produced by aluci, the ‘twist’ lighting system’ consists of similar components but an entirely different arrangement: instead of a horizontal layout, the parts are stacked vertically with the capacity to twist rather than swing.

other products of the collection include the ‘box-s’ and ‘box-l’, which are sleek deskwares for your electronics. the top cover lifts up to hide cords and wiring while an angled groove provides a place for docking an iphone or ipad.
