At a leading industry event dedicated to cabin innovations, the Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) in Hamburg, Airbus revealed a full-size mockup of its A330neo featuring the new Airspace interior, showcasing a range of enhancements designed to improve both functionality and aesthetics. The icon of the new A330neo cabin is the hero light, a unique lighting panel running throughout the entire business class featuring a customizable pattern with 16 million color options to create an outstanding passenger experience. This premium feature, designed for the business class section, offers airlines a unique opportunity for differentiation by allowing them to tailor the cabin ambiance to their brand identity. Furthermore the hero light in combination with the high ceiling delivers a phantastic space perception, enabled by the larger lateral bins that hold 60% more luggage. Complementing the Hero Light is the Airspace Welcome Panel, located at the aircraft’s entrance, featuring the Airspace iconic diamond pattern. This can also be customized by airlines, enhancing the boarding experience for passengers.
