spend the night in an oscar mayer weinermobile available on airbnb

are you a hot dog fan? do you want to spend the night inside one? you can do it now thanks to oscar mayer and airbnb who have listed the weinermobile — a giant hot dog-shaped vehicle — on the hospitality platform. for one night only, people in chicago can have the opportunity to eat, live and sleep inside the 27-foot-long hot dog on wheels.

first created in 1936 by oscar mayer, the first weinermobile model featured ford thunderbird taillights and a chevy motor home frame. inside, a cozy space for two people complete with a bed, a sitting area and an almost transparent interior make up the airbnb experience. amenities include a mini fridge stocked with oscar mayer hot dogs and all toppings. an outdoor space is also available where the bathroom is located, perfect for a hot dog picnic zone.

‘and to help you celebrate your love for hot dogs during your visit, each guest will also receive a welcome kit, complete with all the hot dog-inspired accessories you could want after a music-filled, festival day,’ comments the airbnb listing page.

each overnight is priced at $136 USD a night (plus taxes and fees), inspired by the number of years oscar mayer has delivered hot dogs. airbnb opened the reservations on july 24, and seems like there is no more availability.
