headquartered in the south bay neighborhood of san francisco, file sharing company yousendit – now known as hightail – has collaborated with local interior design studio geremia to develop their new office space. throughout the plan, the light-filled urban fabric incorporates an extensive selection of bespoke furniture and experimental artwork, opening up to small communal meeting rooms and custom coffee bars. the scale of the workplace manages to create a warm and cozy atmosphere for employees, making them feel at home as they work from ergonomic office chairs and lounge on comfortable couches. to accentuate the creative spirit of the web-based organization, hundreds of paper airplanes suspend from the main hallway, which reference the company’s previous graphic logo.
