2017 A' design awards & competition - last call for entries

as the largest of its kind, the A’ design awards & competition aims to acknowledge, communicate and advocate for the very best of design and architecture from around the world. whether highly conceptual, prototyped, or fully produced, the competition provides a fair and ethical platform for creatives, be it students or experienced practitioners, to submit their truly exceptional work. this is in the hope to raise international awareness of the creative field, the principles of good design, and to advance the future possibilities of design as well.

nominate your designs for award consideration here, prior to the submission deadline on february 28th. the results of the 2017 A’ design awards & competition will be announced on april 15th, when designboom will publish a special feature of selected winners and results.

projects at all stages of completion can be submitted into one of more than 100 different categories. this ensures that each entry is classified and then judged under the most relevant creative field. to name a few, these categories include; good industrial design award, good architecture design award, good product design award, good communication design award, good service design award, good fashion design award (all of the A’ design award & competition categories can be seen here).

annual gala-night is the perfect event for networking

individuals who are honoured with a distinguished A’ design award, receive many benefits and privileges. as well as instant global recognition and prestige, recipients attain a comprehensive winner’s kit which includes an extensive PR campaign, the prized award trophy, the good design mark, feedback from the jury, and inclusion in the popular designers index. furthermore, winners are also entitled to showcase themselves, their practice, and their work at the A’ design award exhibition, are featured in the annually-published yearbook, receive an invitation to the gala-night which is an ideal networking event, and are included in the annual world design rankings. the A’ design awards & competition winners are selected from a strong international jury, which implement a fair evaluating methodology. comprised of design professionals, members of the press, and academics, the comprehensive jury review each and every entry submission. their special selection methodology ensures that all awarded submissions have succeeded through a hard process, including closed voting, cross-matching and preliminary checks. this is why the competition prides itself as a fair and ethical awards platforms, where only the best projects receive the prestigious honours.
