2024 A’ design award and competition opens!
With 1,884 winners from 114 countries rewarded in 2023, the prestigious A’ Design Award and Competition returns to acknowledge and accolade the very best of design in 2024. The annual platform was originally founded to help creatives receive international recognition for their work – and the same mission continues to this day. Once again, designboom plays a part by publishing the winners to our millions of global readers, including announcing the laureates for the 2024 edition with a special feature on May 1st.

The winning projects for 2023 spanned 140 different design disciplines, ranging from architecture, building and structure design to interior space and exhibition design, and lighting products and projects design to furniture, decorative items and homeware design. Continuing to offer the same variety in 2024, the diversity of categories makes the platform unique. It assures creators can submit projects to the most relevant discipline. This also aids the international jury panel of leading scholars, professionals and media members in evaluating submissions.

Winners of the 2024 A’ Design Award and Competition not only receive worldwide publication on designboom but also additional media coverage from around the globe. Laureates receive an extensive winner pack that is highly sought-after too. To start, winners are recognized with an award trophy and certificate as well as inclusion in an exhibition, yearbook and world design rankings. All award winners are invited to a gala night, which is perfect event to network and expand business opportunities.
