5.5 designstudio presents 70 ways to use duralex’s iconic picardie glass
duralex celebrates its 70th anniversary, and to recognize this milestone, 5.5 designstudio have envisioned 70 ways to use the tableware and kitchenware manufacturer’s iconic ‘picardie’ glass.
the french creatives have conceived a series of accessories / attachments that work in coordination with the classic drinking vessel, each of which bring enhanced functionality, and of course a bit of fun to the little moments of everyday life. each of the designs are available as digital files so that anyone can 3D print them for their own personal use.
among the designs are a pencil sharpener, dreidel and bird feeder
‘a duralex glass is the very essence of what we believe about design. an integrated and timeless object, there’s nothing gratuitous or artificial about its conception. functionality is everything, and that’s what makes it beautiful.’ – jean-sébastien blanc of 5.5 designstudio
