faithful to their avant-garde and anti-conformist positions, french practice 5.5 designstudio approaches the burning subject of counterfeiting in this spring exhibition of les puces du design in paris. the show will be be running from may 18 to 21, 2017, at the portes de versailles in hall 3.1.
‘original copies’ collection by 5.5 designstudio
together with les puces du design, 5.5 designstudio aims to raise public awareness on the development of counterfeits with a red scotch band signed 5.5 and titled ‘original copies’. by doing so, the team aims at defending and protecting authentic designs that have a true heritage value.
