‘flexibility – design in a fast-changing society’ is one of the many events taking place in turin this year in conjunction with the city being named the ‘design world capital 2008’. the show consists of nine projects by international designers installed at a former prison, ex carceri ‘le nuove’.

born in nieuwleusen, netherlands, in 1975. currently based at schiedam. his latest projects include work for moooi, pallucco, domestic, van vilt, silvera and goods bertjan pot explores the skin of products, – sometimes the skin is the whole product, sometimes it’s just something that covers up something else.
