Thomas Bjorn Yang is a Taiwanese-Northern Italian designer, with a background in industrial and object design. His craft is derived from culture, and inherited techniques; it is based on a philosophy of care toward objects, in an effort to extend the life of the objects he makes, and as a gesture of respect to the living environment. Thomas’s work has become a love letter to daily use, material, and attention to detail. Largely hand-making his catalogue of objects allows him the opportunity to explore material and method through process.
