the italian-based creative consultancy and image-production studio, terzo piano, has created the ‘abstractionism’ project in collaboration with elisabetta bongiorni. the series uses a visual language made up of geometric shapes, chromatic areas and abstract lines, resulting in a colorful and eye-catching display.

the terzo piano studio works to create design images through modelling and photorealistic 3D rendering to build visual experiences with a certain atmosphere. the ‘abstractionism’ project aims to reproduce an illusion of visible reality by utilizing tricks of perspective, optical illusions, and color. the images themselves are made up of a layered composition, such as a painting. objects are summarized in lines and chromatisms, even if they start from real shapes until they became abstract colored shapes. each image of the series makes use of a palette of complementary colors and tones to form the appealing aesthetic.
