the work is rendered in real time by a computer program which brings the flowers to life. ‘the seasons change gradually across the installation space,’ explains the design team. ‘a seasonal year of flowers blossom according to the changing seasons, and the place where they grow gradually moves’.

‘teamlab’, a media art group comprising over 400 specialists, has presented their projects worldwide. the collective carries out collaborative experiments to challenge traditional forms of expression and push the boundaries of art and technology. past projects, such as an exhibition at mifuneyama rakuen park, reflects a close relationship with nature. the collective seeks to interpret the natural world without harming it.
