‘circus days and circus nights’ by su blackwell
UK artist su blackwell has sent in images of her work. primarily using old books as her medium she creates fine, intricate sculptures. using a scalpel she cuts and glues the pages of books to create miniature dioramas glowing with lights in wood and glass boxes. her sculptures are currently on display as part of ‘the 8th east wing collection’ at the courtauld institute in london until july 2009.
