in a hilarious amalgamation of pet and portrait, swiss photographer sebastian magnani has united the furry friends of many with their owners, swapping their faces for ‘undercats’. felines can be seen adorned with the jewelry, shirts, scarves and sweaters of their parent, hiding under hoodies and sporting swanky hairstyles. the digital transplants bearing dreadlocks and bike helmets yield a strange breed of characters, each distinct in its expression and identity. take a look at the rest of the images from the series on rex features.
