‘peace’ is an inflatable sculpture by shanghai-based architecture firm slow studio. the work takes form as a hostile, spiked sphere, broken only once by a narrow vertical opening. here, visitors can break beyond the violent exterior, entering into the womb-like interior, a place of comfort and tranquility. breaking beyond the hardened shell, violence is overcome, creating a tension subjectively experienced by each individual.
