‘mills bomb’

paper wars is a series of one off pieces designed by international artists and designers. using paper each

participant created various sculptures. the ‘mills bomb’ is a classic design; a grooved cast iron pineapple with a central striker held by a close hand lever and secured with a pin. the grenade was used by armed forces world wide. each handmade object becomes a medium for the maker’s reaction to the subject.
