furniture and fashion designer omar perez, has created a series of custom made sculptural high heels that have been worn by famous clients including lady gaga. the designs which can take up three months to build – combine a range of experimental techniques and materials involved in their construction. the shoes are characterised by a thick platform with added metal embellishments wrapped around the frame of the structure. the ‘void’ heel features a large inserted hole within its base and delicate razor edge straps. all of the extravagant pairs reflect a brave and gutsy ambition through the use of punk-style accessories. despite how complex these stilettos may seem however, they are all in fact wearable, making them the a bold and feisty fashion statement.
