NIKE commissioned fausto fantinuoli to create these landscapes using sneakers from two of their recent collections that were inspired by brazil.

the art director used shoes from the NIKE football FC247 rangeand the NIKE sportswear beaches of rio collections to create the images.which will be shown in the new issue of PIN—UP magazine.

fausto fantinuoli is a freelance art director and graphic designer based in london.after graduating with a degree in art direction from milan’s istituto europeo di design in 2007, he worked in design studios in milan and new york before joining AMO, the research branch of rem koolhaas’s office for metropolitan architecture in rotterdam. as part of his work for AMO he has collaborated with prada on lookbooks and set design for the company’s runway shows. he has also worked on exhibition design for fondazione prada, icon, and viktor & rolf.
