the 2nd generation dual+ XR — the last innovation to come out of urban transportation company boosted — topped out at 22 miles per hour, could climb a 25% grade hill and could run for 14 miles between each charge. it was powerful, durable and fun; the problem was that it would put users back 1,400 US dollars. today, they’ve released 4, new boards — one pricier, two less expensive — all more advanced than the last.

the boosted mini S is the most affordable of the 3rd generation line up. it costs only $749 — almost half the price of the original board. it can go 18 mph for a standard range of 7 miles between charge. it probably wouldn’t fair well against large hills.

the mini X is a different story. at $999, it’s still much cheaper, smaller and lighter— but can go practically the same speed as the dual+ XR. the mini X goes 20 mph and can last 14 miles between each charge.

the climax of this new series is found in the all new, all black, boosted stealth. it’s the fastest boosted board yet (24 mph), runs for 14 miles, and rides like never before due to its new, super flex composite deck. 1,600 US dollars.
plus
finally, the family is complete with the boosted plus. the plus performs like the dual+ XR. at first glance, it may look the same, too. but the super flex composite deck makes it far more durable and fun to ride: ‘the new classic,’ according to boosted.
