summer-lovers across the world enjoy the supreme relaxation and sense of outdoor freedom that vacation-time affords. for many, the sizzling season wouldn’t be complete without refreshing poolside dips with friends and driving excursions across the open road. french artist benedetto bufalino unites these two favorites in a single design, fashioning the ultimate cruiser to beat the heat. by removing the roof, windows and windshield of a shiny blue ‘seat ibiza’ sedan, bufalino has transformed the body of a car into a functioning jacuzzi bath fit for fun and leisure. the interior has been retrofitted to accommodate all of the working parts necessary for the hot tub to operate, and has been designed so that the vehicle’s exterior panels, wheels and trunk make up the pool’s outer shell. bathers lounging within are surrounded by a bubbling expanse of warm water and, without the top of the car to block natural light, can simultaneously take the sun.
