We Are Ona unveils latest pop-up in the heart of Paris

 

We Are Ona, the gastronomic collective known for its fusion of food, art, and design, joins forces with famed artistic director Alexandre de Betak to unveil its latest pop-up in a unique Parisian setting. Set within a Haussmannian apartment under renovation on Rue de Rivoli, with sweeping views of the Tuileries Garden, the ephemeral experience reimagines the raw, scaffolded space as a canvas for a sensory journey. Running until December 16th, 2024, the transformative event embraces the beauty of transition, showcasing the apartment’s unpolished architectural charm while offering a glimpse of something grander to come.

Alexandre de Betak Curates Raw, Immersive Dining Experience

 

The stage for this latest pop-up by culinary collective We Are Ona is set by acclaimed French designer Alexandre de Betak, who transforms the Haussmannian apartment mid-renovation into an artful and immersive space. With its glimpses of exposed architecture, the apartment becomes a living canvas that celebrates the beauty of imperfection and transition. Betak’s creative interventions highlight the space’s evolving character, offering an environment that is as striking as it is temporary.

 

Amid this transformative setting, chef Alexis Bijaoui—formerly of Auberge de la Roche—curates an exclusive gastronomic experience. Known for his inventive approach to French cuisine, Bijaoui crafts thoughtful lunch and dinner menus that resonate with the rawness of the surroundings. Each dish complements the apartment’s aesthetic, to deliver a dining experience as nuanced as the space itself.
