today is the last day of the world architecture festival which has been running in barcelona for the past two days. the event presents the work of the world’s most famed architects and highlights key projects which have been completed over the last year. as part of the festival, awards are given to those projects which have exhibited the most innovation and have looked beyond national borders and into the larger world of architecture. the results of the first winners has been announced. the categories and their winner are as follows:
