the world architecture festival has just released the 2012 shortlist of projects in the running for selection as ‘world building of the year’, to be officially unveiled october 3rd-5th at the marina bay sands in singapore. the list includes completed buildings under the categories of civic and community, culture, display, health, higher education/research, hotel/leisure, house, housing, new and old, office, production/energy/recycling, schools, shopping, shopping centres, sport, transport and villa. completed urban landscape projects along with future projects in the competition, culture, education, experimental, health, house, infrastructure, landscape, leisure led development, masterplanning, mixed use, office and residential categories are represented. congratulations to each of the nominees!
