fashion designer and film director tom ford has put his tadao ando-designed santa fe ranch on the market for a reported price of $75 million USD. the cerro pelon ranch, which was personally sited by ando, encompasses 20,662 acres (or 32 square miles) of land in new mexico. the site’s main residence hovers above a reflecting pool, and directly adjoins a horse barn with eight individual stalls. the circular spaces of the indoor and outdoor riding arenas complement the residence’s more linear architecture.

according to real estate agent kevin bobolsky, the property also includes four separate staff quarters, two private guest houses — designed and built by marmol radziner — multiple warehouses to organize and house ranch equipment, and a private air strip and hanger. there are plans for another residential compound to be built on the highest point of the ranch, also designed by tadao ando. read more information about the vast property here.
