slovak company ecocapsule has launched ‘SPACE’, an affordable micro-home designed for off-grid adventures. the new version is similar to the company’s eponymous micro-unit in form (see previous coverage here), but comes in a more affordable price, starting at 49.900 € compared to the 79.900 € of the original. complete with solar panels for green energy gathering, the 6.3 sqm volume offers a great solution for off-grid living that can sleep up to two people.

ecocapsule has developed ‘SPACE’ with the signature, original design of its eponymous unit. the company also offers customization services for those that want to add extra furniture, change the exterior color, or simply design their own interior. the semi off-grid micro-unit offers 6.3 m2 of habitable space to any building or space in usage. as such, it provides the perfect solution for a garden home office, sales place for little entrepreneurs, a guest room, or complementary space for ecocapsule original.
at a significantly lower price, the basic version of ‘SPACE’ is equipped with a cabinet wall and laminate flooring, and starts from 49.900 €. its body is made of insulated fiberglass shells overlaying a steel framework, while inside, the furniture comes in lightweight plywood panels with a wood veneer finish.
