How we look at our environment, how we move within it, and how we shape it is influenced by architecture and the design of the buildings we live in. Up on the Cole Residence in Los Angeles, the oversized windows of the Swiss company form the perfect setting for a dynamic dance performance. Stirred and moved by the boundlessness of the ever-expanding glass front, a mythical creature emerges from its cocoon during the dance, breaks free and transforms into an ethereal creature. The boundaries between outside and inside become blurred, and the house’s protective shell opens into the landscape and the sky.
