Moco Concept Store by Six N. Five
Stepping out of the digital world for a moment, Six N. Five has announced the completion of the Moco Concept Store, a permanent physical space designed for the Moco Museum in Barcelona. The project is the real implementation of an existing virtual concept designed by the creative studio who is also the winner of THE DESIGN PRIZE 2021 in the ‘Communication’ category. Realized in collaboration with interior designer Isern Serra, the space generates an immersive all-pink environment that celebrates artistic activity through a carefully selected collection of sustainable products and limited edition works by modern and contemporary creatives.

Subtle pink hues and curvaceous shapes
Six N. Five is known for using digital tools and CGI to create minimal, surreal, and tranquil environments, pastel dreamscapes, and vivid, unthinkable architectures that allude to the endless possibilities of the ever-evolving digital tools. The museum has entrusted its new space to the Barcelona-based art studio to pursue the concept of exploring the most modern and innovative forms of artistic expression. ‘Through creativity, we can shape a new reality. We are all co-creators of this new world’ Moco shares.
The concept was to build a dedicated commercial space that embodies the museum’s mission: to be inclusive, enlightening, inspiring, and empowering while making art accessible to all. Soft pink hues and curved shapes permeate the interior, marking the signature stylistic features of the studio’s CGI dreamscapes. Six N. Five collaborated with Isern Serra to transform these digital creations and components into a tangible reality, a world of experience that is both real and unreal.
‘When you’re challenged to explore the unknown and things that have never been done before – you’re moved to do what has not been done before’, Six N. Five explain. ‘One of the things that thrills me the most is being able to create new spaces and experiences through images, videos, and virtual reality that allow us to imagine something different from what we are used to. The Moco Concept Store represented an interesting challenge, as I had to combine the purpose of the store with actual architecture remaining true to our original dreamy world I had built in CGI, but these concepts were able to go one level further, both in decisions and execution, thanks to Isern Serra who brought his extraordinary talent and experience’.
