japanese architectural firm roovice have completed ‘mkgo’ a renovation of a 35 year old wooden two storey house in japan.
for their project they moved the living, kitchen and dining areas to the 2nd floor to provide more sunlight and to also soften the outside noise. the ceiling was removed to create more space and to use the wooden structure as a feature in the design.
