rintala eggerston architects have designed a home in bodo, norway. the site is located on the side of a mountain facing southwest with a 15 m height difference. the two storey house consists of 3 bedrooms, guest room, work studio and sauna, altogether approx. 130 square meters of heated floor area.
constructed with a wooden structure and wooden facades, concrete base and metal roof the form of the house creates necessary microclimates for the entrance and courtyard outdoor areas.
the building is due to be complete by the end of 2010.
