plain works + critical mass lab's arch forest installation is a surreal fairytale arched maze

korean architectural practices plain works and critical mass LAB grabbed some inspiration from the lewis carroll’s ‘alice’s adventures in wonderland’ and integrated it into their surrealistic installation ‘arch forest’. the intentionally small-scale arched maze lets you forget about your tedious daily routine and get lost in between two worlds.

the team wanted to create a structure which allows different impressions depending on the angle the visitor looks from. walking through a white arcade, you turn around and find yourself in a green forest.
