OMA unveils the perigon, its first-ever residential tower in miami beach

THE PERIGON HAS BEEN ENVISIONED AS A SERIES OF ROTATED TOWERS

Following the demolishment of a condo building situated on Miami Beach’s Collins Avenue, OMA has revealed the design of its first-ever residential tower in the area — The Perigon. Envisioned as a series of towers rotated to orient and enhance views from all residences toward the Atlantic Ocean, the façade is distinguished by an interplay of cascading lines that mimic the fluid form of the adjacent waters.

The towers are merged and lifted into a singular form that responds to the panoramic views and frees the ground-plane below, creating the appearance that the building is only gently touching the ground. The resulting reduced footprint maximizes space for the gardens below. A subtle contrast in shape between the towers—organic meeting orthogonal—highlights their juxtaposition.

AN 18-STORY TOWER INCLUDING 83 RESIDENCES

Nestled on 200 linear feet of pristine private shoreline, The Perigon by OMA offers moments of leisure paired with an array of luxuries for the utmost beach lifestyle. The 18-story tower will include 83 residences ranging from two to four bedrooms, spanning from 2,100 to 6,700 square feet. The units start at $3 million and will feature luxury amenities and residence features.

Among the features, residences will be provided with a private elevator entrance to every property; 10-foot ceilings with floor-to-ceiling windows; private terraces designed to provide direct videos of the Atlantic; and a custom Italian kitchen designed by Tara Bernerd & Partners featuring honed marble.

Residents will also be able to enjoy luxurious amenities such as a residential butler; dedicated lifestyle concierge; a signature oceanfront restaurant by a celebrated chef exclusive to residents; beachside swimming pool and outdoor spa with sunbeds and cabanas; luxury guest suites for friends and family; a bespoke wine room; and an intimate garden and meditation lounge areas overlooking the Atlantic among others.

The compelling landscape has been designed by award-winning Gustafson Porter + Bowman, known for creating authentically engaging spaces globally, including the redesign of the Eiffel Tower’s landscape ahead of the 2024 Olympic Games.
