a heat-regulating and slanted volume with dramatic façades

in respect to visual continuity, heat control, and spatial function, new wave architecture (see more here) shaped the building as a volume enveloped in glass and emerging obliquely from the ground, with an aluminum profile that defines its outermost façade layer. the slanted design creates an appealing skyline in harmony with the surroundings, while glass lets in plenty of natural lighting and aluminum framings control internal heat gain. turbosealtech new office and incubator 9

cultivating a shared space for both visitors and employees

for the turbosealtech building interiors, the team adopted an exposed design that splits into five horizontal levels that connect vertically via a fully glazed lift: offices are located on the upper levels, while an open-plan workhouse sits on the lower floor, within a transparent enclosure, where visitors can learn about and observe company activities.

complementing the open-plan workhouse is a cut-out roof that serves as an outdoor terrace for both visitors and employees to enjoy. the inclined roof is voided throughout to create a green corridor from the ground up, therefore reducing building temperature and energy consumption. finally, a water tank sits next to the building to collect rainwater which the company will use for irrigation purposes, among other functions.
