‘Mobleys-Bus-Office’ by Moo Flat Design
Japanese studio Moo Flat Design introduces the ‘Mobleys-Bus-Office’, a workspace inside an old renovated mini bus. Designed to be practical, minimal, and spatial, the mini bus contains a fully-equipped office environment, including a mini-kitchen, a desk space, and a meeting space with a 86.36 cm (34 inch) monitor and air conditioning, so users can work anywhere. Keeping it simple, wood louvers clad the entire interior of the bus to create an intimate atmosphere that keeps the focus on the changing environment outside.
The vehicle proposes a balance between work and enjoying time in nature. ‘In the latest digital circumstance, it’s important when you use the time in your life,’ says Moo Flat Design. ‘Which means the work time is in the criterion of how to live. In this project, they can work anytime and anywhere.’

Moo Flat Design’s ‘Mobleys-Bus-Office’ is equipped with a minimalist workspace with wood louvers lining, which puts the working experience in the foreground, without neglecting comfort and relaxation, ‘We wanted to bring the comfortable space to the nature,’ explains the design studio.
In spite of changing outside conditions, there is a welcoming feeling created through the double doors that allows the passenger to experience nature directly. Additionally the vehicle is equipped with a bench located at the rear of the bus to allow the passengers to sit outside and enjoy their surroundings. Moreover, similar to a classic car, the surface of the bus is covered with a gray-blue hue and a mirror-like finish.
