after the initial collaboration between masquespacio and ‘bun’ hamburger chain for its first store in milan, the design studio now presents another vibrant restaurant interior in turin, italy. the project focuses on the already formed brand identity, using three bold colors  — green, blu, and pink — to allocate the different areas, while also generating a fun swimming pool-like space where diners can enjoy their meal while feeling like they’re underwater.

taking advantage of three pre-existing windows that provide natural light and generous views, the studio has applied three different colors to organize the environment. ‘the idea to play with one color for each window creates a visual effect from the outside that makes the spectator from the exterior walk from one visual world into the other, traveling through different experiences in the same space,’ says ana hernández, creative director of masquespacio.

the green color that is amply used in the milan interior and serves as a trademark of the ‘bun’ identity, has been picked to cover the main bar where customers can submit their order. meanwhile, pink and blue colors guide diners towards two seating areas that are completely different from each other. in the pink zone, guests can gather at a large shared table, where a tribune allows them to sit at different levels. on the other hand, the blue area adopts a swimming pool-like aesthetic, adding a fun touch to the interior.

in addition, the project features a series of elements that are already established as brand identity essentials in the milan restaurant. thus, the turin interior also incorporates arcs, next to materials like ceramics and terrazzo. after finalizing this project, masquespacio intends to work on more ‘bun’ stores in milan, and integrate this brand identity in new singular spaces.
